Artist Willard Wigan Once Inhaled His Work

Wigan’s pieces of art are so tiny that it has to be viewed through a microscope. While creating his art, Wigan has to control his heartbeat, slowing it. At one point, he inhaled his work (it was Alice from Alice in Wonderland). Wigan works his sculptures into shape using his crafted tools such as sharpened pins with razor edges for cutting a set of micro-tweezers made from a pair of his eyelashes. Later, he mounts and displays each piece in the eye of a needle.
